A book and its cover

Can you identify a type of person by what car they drive? Even more so, can you tell what type of neighberhood, by what cars are parked there? I ask this, because literally, every house on this street has a truck parked in its driveway. Even my roommate has a truck. Does this say soemthing about the street I live on? Or am I trying to read into things too much?
